Cricket format explained
Cricket is Bangladesh's most popular sport. Betting markets vary across formats — learn about each one.
T20
Each team plays 20 overs. The match finishes in 3 to 4 hours. The most popular betting markets: match winner, top batsman, number of sixes.
One-Day (ODI)
Each team plays 50 overs. The match lasts 7 to 8 hours. Markets: total runs, wickets fallen, innings score.
Test Cricket
A five-day match. Ideal for strategic betting — draw and innings-based markets are available.
The Hundred
Each team plays 100 balls. Popular in England, this format delivers quick results and exciting moments.
Popular leagues and tournaments
BPL — Bangladesh Premier League. The domestic T20 league, most popular among local fans.
IPL — Indian Premier League. The most watched T20 league in the world.
BBL — Big Bash League (Australia). The summer T20 league.
PSL — Pakistan Super League. Quite popular among Bangladeshi viewers.
Types of slot games
Classic slots
Made up of 3 reels and simple paylines. Gives the feel of old-school slot machines. NetEnt is well known for this type of game.
Video slots
Advanced slots with 5 reels, animations, bonus rounds, and free spins. Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus belongs to this category.
Jackpot slots
A portion of each bet is added to the jackpot pool, offering the chance of a big win. Microgaming is well known for producing this type of game.
Megaways slots
The size of the reels changes with every spin, resulting in a huge number of winning combinations. Big Time Gaming invented this mechanic.
Cascading reels
Winning symbols are removed and new symbols drop in, giving you the chance to win multiple times from a single spin. PG Soft's Mahjong Ways uses this feature.
Cluster pays
Instead of paylines, wins are formed by groups (clusters) of adjacent matching symbols. Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza works this way.
How to read odds
Understanding odds before you start betting is important. Odds tell you how much you will receive if your bet wins.
Decimal odds (easiest to understand)
Say the odds are 1.80. If you place a ৳500 bet, your total return will be:
৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900 (profit ৳400)
The higher the odds, the lower the chance of winning, but the greater the reward.
Fractional odds
Common in England. 4/5 means a ৳5 bet returns ৳4 in profit. Your original stake is also returned.
American odds (Moneyline)
+150 means a ৳100 bet returns ৳150 in profit. -120 means you need to bet ৳120 to win ৳100 in profit.
